One thing I learned in my 68 years of life is:
Be careful over choices... when given 2 there are always 3! ....Third one is to decline the offer of choice! ...A man that came up to me in a coffee shop and he asked me if I had to choose, which would I rather lose, SIGHT OR HEARING?? ...I thought for a while and said since I am an artist; I would sacrifice the hearing because I would need sight for painting. ...Later that year I got toxic poisoning and lost my sight and hearing for almost 2 years. I kept recalling that man ( who I never saw before or since) asking me about those choices which led me to ask my doctors: with the loss of sight, why did I lose my hearing??? ....Doctors answer: all connected through your sinus canal, one will affect the other so either one you choose, it may be that the other will be affected anyway! ...If I could roll back the hands of time, my answer would have been, sorry sir, I decline the choice, I would rather not lose either! -s.wolk 2016
